Democrat Randy Perkins
Former Boca Raton Congressman Robert Wexler will campaign today with Democratic Congressional candidate Randy Perkins, according to the Perkins’ campaign.
The location is the Palm Beach Marriott, 1001 Okeechobee Blvd, in West Palm Beach.
It will be from 1-3 p.m., the campaign says.
Wexler was a popular Democratic congressman from Boca Raton from 1997 until he resigned in 2010 to become president of the Washington-based S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace.
Perkins, the owner of a disaster-relief company who has contributed frequently to Republican campaigns as well as Democratic ones, is one of three Democrats running in the Aug. 30 Democratic primary for the Treasure Coast-north Palm Beach County District 18 seat being vacated by U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy.
